Multi-Passionate & Ready to Rumble

Hello everyone and thank you so much for tuning in to my first blog post! I am so excited to kick off this platform as an avenue for you to explore all things personal development, empowerment, adventure and so much more!

Today I want to chat with you about network marketing. Now, before you leave me high and dry, just humor me for the moment. I want to give you some context and parts of my story.

If you've read my about page you know that I have worked as a Registered Nurse for the last 10 years. Recently, I started my first position as a Nurse Practitioner. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the impact that I have as a nurse. I love caring for people and supporting them through some of their hardest days. But it's an exhausting profession. Between the shift work wreaking havoc on our bodies and our physical and mental health, and the emotional toll of caring for sick individuals day in and day out, I started feeling to understand that I didn't want to do this forever. At least not in a full time capacity. So, I started taking steps to create change. I went back to school to be a Pediatric Nurse practitioner and eventually was hired for a contract role about a year ago. But here's the thing, even moving into that role where yes I make "good" money and I work standard hours, I still felt like I wanted MORE. More income, more time freedom, more possibility. And for a long time I was embarrassed and I felt guilty to even say that. Because shouldn't I just be thankful that I've done as well as I have?

I CAN BE THANKFUL AND STILL SEEK SOMETHING MORE

Two years ago, my sister introduced me to a health and wellness company that functions under a network marketing business model. I knew very little about network marketing, but had heard some of the negative connotations sometimes associated. "I don't want to be THAT person," or "I don't want to bug my family and friends," blah blah blah.

I did it anyway. Because the solution I sought, the opportunity, I wanted it MORE than the fear of being "that person." Network marketing is just a business model, YOU get to choose how you show up in your business and how you want to share with others. People who are successful in this industry, they don't buy friends and family, they build networks and relationships with people all over the world. They build teams of people who desire changes in their life, and that's what really resonated with me.

I will create change.

I will create possibility.

I will create freedom.

And I will do it with a team of incredible people succeeding beside me!

Because here is the thing about this industry, your success only grows as much as you do. Personal development and growth is VITAL to learning the skills and growing a team. And that my friends, is unlike something I have ever experienced before.

My first business I joined a global health and wellness company whose products I used and love. I still use the products daily and ABSOLUTELY consider them life changing. I share them with people in my network because I know they value the impact that these products could have on their life too. People want solutions to the things that plague them. And If I can help them with that, why wouldn't I? I have a small (for now) but mighty team and I am so stoked to continue to learn and grow alongside them.

My second business is a recent venture. I got involved with a beauty company because in all honesty, I was tired of the way my hair looked and I wanted it to look and feel better. I was open to trying natural based products that had helped others achieve gorgeous, healthy hair. And when I used the products, I loved my own results. When you love something, its so natural to share it with people, so I got involved. What I didn't expect was the incredible welcome and support network of a group of truly bad ass babes who all have a vision similar to mine. And I love that. I thrive on that energy, that passion. And as someone who often feels like an outsider, because my journey is not like a lot of those around me, it is so refreshing to connect with people who get that.

So yeah, I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, sometimes I work at the bedside as an RN still; I have two online business' that I continue to be so passionate about growing and learning with. I have three different income streams right now, and you can bet I will continue adding more. Because this is how I build the future I want. This is how I live my dreams.

I am a multi-passionate woman and I am so damn proud of that fact. Instead of trying to follow the paths that others have made, I've decide to make my own.
