Okay, if you have been following along with journey, you may know that a few months ago I partnered with a Global Hair & Skincare Brand. I have been LOVING my journey and the changes in my hair along the way. So much so that I wanted to share with you some of my FAVORITE hair accessories! Check them out below and be sure to drop a comment if you try and love any of them too!
1. Microfiber Hair Towel- Okay so this is absolutely ESSENTIAL if you are trying to grow your hair and/or keep it healthy. Using a microfiber towel decreases breakage when you hair is wet , because when your hair is wet your hair is at its most vulnerable to breakage. Using a good microfiber towel helps to pull the moisture from your hair, allowing your hair products to deeply penetrate and work on your hair stands. This hair towel is great because it has a securement loop with two options for how tight you want it to be. It perfectly draws the moisture out of your hair. Its also got a cute neutral pattern!
2. Satin Hair Bonnet for Sleeping - I love this satin bonnet for sleeping when I put an oil treatment in my hair! It keeps my hair safe and contained and keeps any oil from getting on my pillowcase! Be sure to grab a double layered bonnet- this means it has satin both inside and out! It is also great for reducing frizz in your hair, especially if you are curly as it limits the friction with your pillowcase while you sleep! I do an oil treatment weekly with Rejuvenique Oil, and have been OBSESSED with the results in my hair.
3. Wide Tooth Comb - This comb makes a HUGE difference when combing through your wet hair! It is gentle on tangles and helps to decrease breakage when compared to using a standard brush. To best use it you want to start by combing out your hair from the ends and slowly work your way up. This is a great addition to your post shower routine, especially if you are trying to grow your hair! This also makes a great beach bag or pool side accessory!
4. Satin Pillowcase -
Last but certainly not least, you need to start sleeping with a satin pillowcase. This is because while you sleep your hair catches and snags on a pillowcase that is made out of cotton or another material. It also creates friction as you move your head around at night, leading to increased frizz, fraying and breakage of your hair. Switching to a satin pillowcase decreased hair breakage while you sleep. As a bonus, it also stays nice and cool to sleep on! Available in many different colors to match your bed!
Those are my 4 favorite hair accessories that I have come across that I use daily! I just love that my hair is growing well again and that I have some great products to help me keep it healthy and long! If you pick any of them up, be sure to drop a comment below and let me know what you think!
